Why Write?

Writing letters is a rewarding experience that allows you to connect with individuals within your community who need someone to make them feel that they are not alone. No matter who you are writing to, wether they be anonymous or a name given, you will surely we putting a light into the world that is priceless. 

Who should write?

We are looking for students primarily in high school or college, between the ages of 14-20. We write letters both handwritten and typed. Typed letters are then sent to the head of the organization and printed and sent to where they need to be. Handwritten letters would be collected and also sent for those who live within the Somerset County region.  

Typed

• Primarily for individuals who do not attend high school in the Bernards Township school districts, but still want to participate in the community.
• Generally, you will type your letter after receiving information about to whom you are writing to, and will email it back to us for us to print and send off. 
• Upon inputting your email below, you will receive an email with a google form that inquires for general information regarding your interest into the organization. 

Handwritten

• If you are in the Bernards Township District, you may be able to write handwritten notes if you attend Ridge High School and join the Walking Each Other Home Club 
• We plan to eventually offer days on weekends or weekdays at various locations where we meet in groups to organize letter writing and overall general meetings regarding organization news (this could also be a time for writers who usually type letters to handwrite some letters).
• We are also working to be approved to offer community service hours for individuals wishing to receive this. Sign up below so we can plan group events!
